Sri YN College has been rated as a good and valued institution in the provision of educational services. The following are its key highlights:
- An NAAC "A" grade accreditation
- Placement rate of 85% and above
- Well qualified staff with at least 80% of the staff holding PhD degrees

The placement cell at Sri YN College is responsible for organizing campus recruitment. In the previous academic year, 85% of the eligible students were placed. Prominent recruiters were from IT and finance, and consulting industry.
Salary packages offered are from 3.5 to 7 Lacs per annum. The highest Package offered was 12 Lakhs Per Annum. The Average salary package of MBA and PGDM programs was 5.2 and 5.5 Lakhs Per Annum respectively.
The distribution of placement as per sector is:
- IT/Software: 40%
- Finance: 25%
- Consulting: 20%
- Marketing: 15%
Many of them are hired by Wipro, Infosys, HDFC Bank, Deloitte, etc.
