Praveenya Institute of Marine Engineering is for the most part a second-tier college. They particularly focus on marine engineering course since the school’s core business is to ensure they offer hands-on training and skill set for the marine sector. It may not be as well known as Tier 1 institutions, but it is well known within that circuit as a school that churns out reasonably adequate professionals. The institute reason for breathing existence is to give students who want to pursue maritime related careers .

The refunds of fees are also applicable in Praveenya Institute of Marine Engineering based on the regulation of the University Grants Commission- UGC. Generally if a student has withdrawn his or her admission before the class commences then generally the institute returns the fee but deducting few processing charges which may be INR 1,000 maximum. Also, in case a student withdraws his course after completion of the admission process but before the start of classes, then, an amount as may be prescribed as per the shri University Grants Commission rules but may be deducted and adjusted against the fees.

Praveenya Institute of Marine Engineering is an institute of Sri Lanka that offers a B.Tech in Marine Engineering and the institute has a ship aboard and a swimming pool. The institute has a vision of producing students that will work in the maritime sector upon their completion of their studies. Some critiques have been made touching on the management and fees structures the institution has however it has good infrastructure and experience faculty. Finally, it can be recommended as quite good option for those who want to study marine engineering .

Hi.Satya Institute of Technology and Management, Vizianagaram is a private Engineering College established in 2008. The institute is affiliated to JNTU, Kakinada and offers various courses in the field of Engineering & Technology and Management at the UG and PG level.
SITAM, Andhra Pradesh is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University Gurajada, approved by AICTE, and accredited by NAAC with a " B+" grade.
Satya Institute of Technology and Management is not coming under Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute.

The salary scale is between annual salary package of Rs. 3 Lacs to Rs. 4 Lacs. Some students got placed at INR 6 Lacs per annum .
