Yes, you need to take GITAM Admission Test (GAT) entrance exam to join Geetham University, Hyderabad B.Tech courses. The admission criteria requires candidates to have studied Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics as compulsory subjects in 11th and 12th standards, and to have obtained at least 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA in their Intermediate or 10+2 examination. Moreover, the applicants must have qualification in GAT UG (Engineering) 2024. Examination dates for GAT 2024 are from 1st March to 30th April 2024. The student must have obtained more than 60% aggregate score (General), 55% (OBC) and 50% (SC/ST/Divine Body) or equivalent grade. Students must have opted for the subject i.e. Sanskrit/Pali in the present class of study for which they have applied for the scholarship. The university has the right to withdraw or disqualify any student to draw the scholarship at any point of time due to misbehavior.

The general documents requirement includes provisional/original pass certificates of the last qualifying examination, score obtained in each examination right from Matriculation/SSC/OSLC to the last qualifying examination, date of birth certificate, study certificate, caste certificate, conduct certificate.
