Pondicherry Engineering College - PEC has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

|---|---|
| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology in relevant stream from a recognised College/University. |
| MCA | Candidate must have Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration in B.C.A., B.Sc., (Information Technology/Computer Science) with Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level or Graduate level with a minimum of 50% marks. (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category). |
| M.Sc. | Candidate must have passed bachelor's degree from any recognised University. |
| M.E./M.Tech | Candidate must have passed B.E./B.Tech. degree or its equivalent from any recognised University. |

Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education, Deemed to be University has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology in relevant stream from a recognised University. |
| M.E./M.Tech | Candidate must have passsed B.E./B.Tech. in relevant stream and obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category candidates) from an AICTE/UGC approved institution recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto. Final year appearing students may also apply on provisional basis. |
| MBA/PGDM | Candidate must have completed Bachelor degree of 3/4 years duration with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute. 45% marks for BC categories. Candidate who are appearing for the final year degree examination are also be eligible. Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program should have recognition by Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB. Candidate who passed all the subjects of the three years of any Degree course in one sitting is not eligible for admission. |

St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology (SVPCET) has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| BE/ BTech | Candidate must have completed a Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology in relevant stream with a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra state only) from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institution or its equivalent. Candidate must have completed BSc from UGC/ Association of Indian Universities recognised University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra state only) and passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject. |
| ME/ MTech | Sponsored candidates must have a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm/ company/ industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organisation in the relevant field in which admission is being sought. |
