As per last year's placement record, highest package offered during NIT Silchar placements was INR 60 LPA. Around 55.7% of students were placed in the salary range of INR 5 LPA to 10 LPA. 9.8% secured packages above INR 20 LPA, with over 700 total offers made. The average package for Engineering (BTech/MTech) was INR 12.25 LPA. The highest package saw a rise of more than 13% compared to previous year.
