Gauhati University has not released any official placement statistics for BTech students after the placements drive of 2022. However, as per external sources, the highest package offered to BTech students was INR 6 LPA during the recent placement drive. These stats may vary further once the highest package offered is released by the university on the official website. In addition to this, a few placement details have been procured from the NIRF report 2022 for 4-year UG courses, the same are shown in the below table:

The total tuition fee of Guwahati University ranges between INR 33,000 and INR 4.55 lakh. This tuition fee, however, is sourced from unofficial sources. Hence, is indicative. Additionally, this fee is inclusive of the fee of BTech offered at Gauhati University Institute of Science and Technology and other affiliated colleges of the university. As per the official 2022 brochure released by Guwahati University, admission to BTech is completely entrance-based. While 20% of the total seats for BTech are reserved for students who have passed the JEE Main exam (provided that have the official PRC of the state), the remaining 80% of the seats are filled via the pass out students of Assam CEE. Furthermore, students also have an option to secure lateral entry admission directly to the second year of the BTech course. Admission to BTech Lateral Entry courses is subject to a valid score in JLEE Assam exam.

Guwahati University has not released any BTech specific placements data for the recruitment drive of 2022 or 2023 as of now. However, as per the verified students reviews available on Shiksha,
