A non-refundable application fee of AUD 55 (INR 2,992) is chargeable to international students while applying to any programme offered by Deakin Uni as of 2023. On Feb 25, 1974, the Federal Cabinet Welfare Committee decided that Victoria's fourth university will be based in Geelong. The Deakin University Act was later passed on December 10 in the same year.
