The postgraduate applicants need not pay any application fee. Still, undergraduate applicants need to pay an application of Pound 22 if they have applied for only one programme. If they have applied for multiple programs, applicants must pay Pound 22 extra for their application.

Below are the requirements for Indian Students:

Undergraduate requirements:

  • The Newcastle University wants applicants to have a minimum 75% average in Standard XII as comparable to ABB at A level. The score can be awarded by any of the following mentioned below

  1. CBSE

  2. CISCE 

  3. NIOS

  4. Autonomous Schools 

  • Actual grades required will vary depending on the exam board

  • However, applicants must also submit the below IELTS as their English Proficiency test.

  • In most cases, applicants will need an overall score of 6.5 or equivalent in IELTS.

Applicants must satisfy the minimum eligibility to receive International Student Support Scholarship 2024. Applicant must:

  • Be an international student
  • Be enrolled in on-campus, external or online mode
  • Be a commencing student
  • Receive an offer to study within one of the study periods in 2024, in an award level programme offered by the University of Southern Queensland
  • Meet the academic and English language requirements for the UniSQ award programme for which they apply
  • Not be in receipt of another UniSQ tuition fee scholarship
  • Not be a sponsored student
  • Not be studying through offshore partner

The University of Southern Queensland is offering International Student Support Scholarship 2024 to new international students studying on-campus, external or online. This scholarships will given based on the entry requirements for the programme of study and maintaining satisfactory academic performance for the duration of study at the University of Southern Queensland. This scholarship awards a 10% reduction of the tuition fees.

International students can apply to the University of Queensland both online and offline mode. OMEGA is the online application portal of the University of Southern Queensland that allows international students to apply for various courses at the University of Southern Queensland. Also, international students can also download the paper application form, fill it out and then send it to the University of Southern Queensland.

The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings has been consistently ranking the University of Southern Australia among the top 200 universities in the world for its engineering programs. In 2023, THE world ranking of USM was in the range of 151-175 which is a steep increase from the previous year’s 176-200 in the world.

The University of Southern Queensland’s pathways programs are like an entry point for international students into their chosen university degree. Currently, the university offers two pathway programs that provide entry into most of the undergraduate degree programs of the University of Southern Queensland. The Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP) programme and Diploma of University Studies are the two pathway programs available for international students.
