The Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is a healthcare plan in Australia. It is mandatory for Indian students to get an OSHC before applying for Australia student visa. The plan covers doctor visits, hospital stays, ambulance services, and some medicine expenses.
It does not cover dental, optical, or physio services. Allianz, Bupa, and Medibank are some popular providers that offer OSHC. Students can also request universities in Australia to help them get one.
