Yes, you can transfer to UTS Sydney from current college or university. For that, students can reapply via the UTS Application portal.
As part of the process, they may be asked to submit transcripts of their current course and the credits they've achieved.

UTS Sydney is generally considered as a Level 1 university in Australia. The university ranks among the top 100 universities in the world. The University of Sydney World Ranking 2027 is #87 according to QS World.
Times Higher Education ranks it #145 in the world for the year 2026.

UNSW is usually considered the better option for higher studies. UNSW ranks #1 in Australia, as part of the QS Rankings 2027. The University of Technology Sydney on the other hand, ranks #9 in Australia.
UNSW is considered the better choice for STEM, Law, and Business courses. UTS on the other hand is considered better for IT, Design, Nursing, and Communications.

Indian students have to pay an application fee of AUD 100 for admission to QUT University. Students can apply to Queensland University of Technology directly or via the university's agent.
