No, for JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Faculty of Engineering & Technology admissions, JEE is not compulsory. Students can submit scores of other accepted exams as well. These include CUET/ UNIGAUGE/ COMEDK, etc. Or, students can appear for the Jain Entrance Test (JET).

JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Faculty of Engineering & Technology selection criteria is entrance-based. The college accepts students only on entrance basis. The selection criteria for JU-FET courses is as below:

  • BTech = JET/ JEE/ CUET/ UNIGAUGE/ COMEDK 
  • MTech = GATE/ JET

Students need to meet the admission requirements to get admission in the JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Faculty of Engineering & Technology. The JU-FET eligibility is as follows:

  • JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Faculty of Engineering & Technology BTech eligibility - Class 12  with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST) with Physics and Mathematics + Chemistry/ Electronics/ Computer Science/ Biology 
  • JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Faculty of Engineering & Technology M.Tech eligibility - BE/ BTech in relevant stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% in the qualifying examination in case of SC, ST)
