The fee structure is standardized from this year. XIME has centralized placements which happen in Bangalore campus. So Kochi, Chennai doesn't make a big difference.

XIME has excellent placements with respective to marketing. Almost 95% students get placed with more than the average package of around 6-7 LPA. Placements in HR are decent but it all depends on the market as well. But they do get good companies with good roles. That should be your concern and not the package as of now.

It is not bad as you think and at the same time not in Ivy League. Work hard on your communication strategies. Gather management skills and start networking with people. Explore options for networking by attending management sessions outside your college. Appear for the interview, even if you're not qualified to get a glimpse on market demands and expectations.
At the end of the day it is upto an individual to secure a job, course and college are just the mediums. Placements do help a lot with the reputation adding sugar to sweetness.
