No, MTech is not free of cost at IIIT Bhagalpur. The total tuition fee for M.Tech is INR 2.5 lakh. If the students find this fee a little high, they can apply for the scholarships provided by the college. Some of the scholarships provided by the college is Central Sector Scholarship for College and University Students (MHRD, Govt. of India), Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for Students Belonging to Minority Communities. (Ministry of Minority Affairs, New Delhi), National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST students (Ministry of Tribal Affairs), and National Scholarship for Persons with Disabilities.

Admission in IIIT is totally based on JEE Mains. First, students have to secure good rank in JEE main then they will get the desired seat in this college. Reservation is also here for SC and ST students, there is an internal quota for Manipur students and for OBC non creamy layer students seats are also reservesed. As far as eligibility is concerned, students must secure 70 percent in class 12 with PCM subjects.

IIIT Bhagalpur offers courses in undergraduate, postgraduate, Doctoral and Diploma level. Bachelor in Technology or BTech is the flagship course offered under UG level and under PG level Master in Technology or M.Tech is offered. As for the Doctoral-level PhD in multiple specialisations like CSE, CEC, etc., is available at IIIT Bhagalpur. And finally Diploma is offered in Digital Buisness Management ( Digital Marketing+Martech+Analytics).
