The Southern Albert Institute of Technology offers on-campus accommodation facilities for in-state as well as international students. Living on in-campus facilities gives a student more exposure to the infrastructural facilities that are being offered by the university. It also helps the students to save time as no transportation will be required to reach the campus. Additionally, Students tend to feel safer while staying in on-campus facilities.

After fulfilling the eligibility requirements of the preferred course, international students are required to show their English Language Proficiency by qualifying for any of the English Language Proficiency tests such as IELTS, TOEFL or PTE. Though a 5.5 band in IELTS is a decent score, it might not be enough to get you into the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology accepts a minimum 6 band/score in IELTS, for admission to any of the courses that it offers.
