In addition to full-time PhD studies, UIET provides four-year Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Master of Engineering (ME) programmes in a variety of engineering specialties. The Panjab University in Chandigarh's department of engineering and technology is known as the University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), and NIRF has designated it as a Tier-1 institute. It basically depends on from which pool do you belong. If you are an U.T. Pool Student then the cut-off is relatively low but if you are an outside U.T. Pool Student then you must have a good XII Merit in order to secure admission.

 

The seats for the students belonging to U.T. Pool is kept reserved at 85% and that for the Outside U.T. Pool students is kept reserved only at 15%. That means if a college under P.U. has 120 seats, then 102 seats will be kept only for U.T. Students and 18 seats will be kept for Outside U.T. Pool Students!

There is no fixed cutoff for B.Voc. in Fashion Technology and Apparel Design at SD College Chandigarh 

The minimum eligibility criteria is 45% aggregate in 12th class.
