UIET Panjab University is equivalent to average NITs in terms of academics, faculty, infrastructure, exposure & placements. Placement scenario of UIET has improved a lot. There are really very good placement opportunities for CS/IT students. Last year in 2019 tech giants & e-commerce giants like Microsoft & Amazon visited the campus for recruitment & offered packages of Rs. 41 LPA & Rs. 30 LPA respectively. Placements for EC, EEE, ME & BT has also improved.

The placement opportunities are good in CGC Landran but only for the students who have good marks. The opportunity is there for all the students. There are many companies visiting the college, and many students get placed in companies like Microsoft, Deloitte, Amazon, Infosys, and Cipla. It has an active placement cell that conducts placement drives every year. Students receive lucrative salary packages during the placement drives.

Hello, we have mailed your issue to PUnjab University. According to the response we have gotten from the research department, students have to personally visit their concerned department to know the detailed "test exempted" admission procedure. However, in general, you must qualify for the respective department's interview process. You have to apply by visiting the university for your respective department. For example, you have to visit the department of Microbiology and submit an offline application as available in the available prospectus.

If you have a domicile in Madhya Pradesh, then with 529 NEET marks and an OBC NCL category, you may get an MBBS seat under the home state quota. Based on the previous year's cutoff data, you may get a medical seat in any of the following government medical colleges depending on this year's closing rank:
1. Government Medical College of Data
2. Khandwa Government Medical College
3. Shahdol's Government Medical College
4. Government Medical College in Shivpuri
The cutoff score in the previous year was around 529 at these medical colleges for the OBC category, but may change this year depending upon the number of applicants.
