Dear Meghana Devi,
Yes, it is possible to get admission in government medical college under 15% quota, because most students are not interested in studying in other states (like north-south or south-north). Let's hope for the best.

Hello Dear,
It is less predictable that you'll get admission into any government medical colleges at this score. However, you can try for private medical colleges in your state.

Hello Dear,
It is difficult to get admission into government medical colleges with ST category of 2900. You can get a seat easily in private. Do attend the counselling.

Chandigarh University has good placement record with the highest package received - 24 LPA. Average salary package is 3- 4 LPA for 2016 for BE CSE course.
But all these depend on your skills only. So if you are talented you can bag even more good packages.

I think Chandigarh University would be the best choice for B.Tech in mechanical.
There you will get more exposure and opportunity.
Also, faculty members are the Ph.D holders of IITs and NITs.

CGC University requires minimum of 75% eligibility for B.Tech. Choose your career first and then find the suitable college.

Hello Dear,
For admission into government medical colleges for MBBS, your score shouldn't be less than 450. Below this score, you may not expect any government medical college.
