The cut off rank for IHM Chandigarh is 1500 and the same goes for IHM Bangalore and IHM Chennai.

Yes, you can get an IHM college as you have scored an AIR of 8799. There are wide range of colleges available. Some of the top colleges are IHM Ahmedabad, IHM Shimla IHM Dehradun IHM Jaipur and IHM Bhopal.

If you would like to seek Degree- Better to Join Colleges - avoid joining institutes. Both Arena and MAAC institutes works under franchise model and have many disadvantages like faculty structure, placements, etc. Few advantages are fees are low compared to other institutes -2 Hours lecture and 3 days a week.
However if you still wish to opt amongst the 2 I would suggest MAAC as it provides good fundamental knowledge to the student's.
