The hostel fee is INR 80,000. The mess fee is INR 3000 on a monthly basis or INR 40000 per year. The College has separate hostels for boys and girls with all the facilities which ensure a comfortable life for our students and work-friendly conditions for their studies. The hostel has spacious rooms that are shared. Each room is fully furnished with bedding, work tables, and cupboards. Provisions have been made in each room to accommodate the use of personal computers by students. The hostel has a modern Kitchen and serving facilities and is professionally managed.

The placement committee consists of Training & Placement Officers and also  Placement coordinators of various departments or branches, which co-ordinate with all the student representatives works as a team to invite the corporate sectors to conduct the campus selection process.

Care is taken that the food offered is of good quality and nutritious. College has Modern kitchen and serving facilities and 3000sq ft dining hall.The food at hostel mess of Tagore Engineering College is nutritious, tasty and wholesome.

Getting admission in Tagore Engineering College is considered difficult.However, admission is based on TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission) ranking.you have to score good in 12th grade also to secure a seat in top branches like Computer Science and Electrical and electronics Engineering. 

Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the HSC (+2) examination conducted by the state and through counselling (TNEA) conducted by Anna University Chennai, selected candidates are allotted to various colleges for admission and it includes Tagore Engineering College also.

Both Annamalai University and Chennai Institute of Technology are good options to pursue ME/MTech. However, in terms of affordability,  Annamalai University is more affordable since the tuition fees to pursue ME/MTech at Annamalai University range from INR 50,000 to INR 1.1 lakh, and the tuition fee to pursue ME/MTech at Chennai Institute of Technology is INR 1.6 lakh.

Cutoff rank for CSE at SRM Chennai Campus is around 8000-10000, and your rank is within the range, so you will likely get admission. The total fee of the B.Tech CSE course for SRM main campus would be about INR 10 Lacs per year, having 840 seats available for the CSE branch. Your rank of 1320 is good enough, placing you at a suitable position for getting admission to the CSE branch with some decent tuition fee also.

With a rank of 1320 in phase 2 2024 of SRMJEEE, your admission chances to the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at the SRM main campus are good. The estimated cutoff for CSE at the SRM Chennai Campus ranges around 8000-9000. You have a better chance of admission since your rank falls below the estimated range. Previously, the cutoff for CSE at SRM Chennai Campus was about 9500-10500 . The total fee for the B.Tech CSE programme at SRM main campus is about INR 10 Lacs per annum.
