You are qualified for the Phase 4 counseling at the VIT Vellore and VIT Chennai campuses if your VITEEE rank is 80600. You can take into consideration the following branches which have had a higher closing ranks in prior years even though leading branches like the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) and the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) normally close at ranks below 20000

Civil Engineering
Engineering Mechanically
Engineering of Chemicals
Engineering for Production and Industry
Biotechnology

These branches are good choices for your rank because their closing ranks frequently exceed 50,000.

Crescent School of Architecture was ranked #40 out of 40 architecture colleges in India by NIRF 2024. Although this does'nt make this college a bad one as this comparision in only for 40 institutes of India. This college is way better from many other colleges of architecture. If you are planning to take admission in any college, you are adviced to check all factors such as infrastructure, faculties, placements etc. not just ranking.

Crescent School of Architecture is little bit expensive for B.Arch. The total tution fees for this course is INR 1250000 and as this is a 5 year course, the per year fees will be around INR 250000. As the placement facility of this institute is not up to the mark, the ROI is quite low. Although other facilities, infrastructure, faculty members and the reputation of this institute  justify the fees but still the fees is quite high. Although if you are able to avail scholarships and get some relaxation in the fees, the fees will totally be justifiable.

The institute does not provide good on campus placements for B.Arch. The median package stood near INR 2.7 LPA and only a few percentage of the total batch got placed. Most of the students seek for jobs by themselves and very few companies come for placement drive. Although due to the good reputation of this institute, you'll not face much difficulties in getting a job.

Crescent School of Architecture is one of the best institutes for architecture in chennai. This institute offers a four-year full-time undergraduate course in B. Des and B.Arch and M.Arch. The institute has a good infrastructure and on-campus-facilities. The faculty members are well qualified and cooperative. The only down side of this institute is the placements as the institute does not offer placement facility, but due the good reputation of this institute, students don't find much difficulty in getting a job by themselves. So, on an overall basis, this institute is a average or decent institute for architecture studies.

Crescent School of Architecture is little bit disappointing in terms of on campus placemets of B.Arch. Most students need to actively seek jobs after graduation, with companies directly recruiting from the college which are very few in number, which is typical for architecture courses in general.  But as the institute has a  good reputation, students generally do not find much difficulty in getting a job. As the institute has less industrial relations, the chances of getting on campus placements from this institute are almost zero. So if you are planing to take admission for B.Arch from this institute you need to build a stro

The eligibility criteria to take admission for B.Arch at Crescent School of Architecture is as follows:-

  1. Minimum 50% in 12th class.
  2. Qualifying the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) exam.

So as the admissions are entrance based, students will be shortlisted based on the cutoff of NATA only. Talking about the cuttoff required to take admission, it is not fixed. The cuttoff varies every year according to the seats intake and applications. Previous year cuttoff information is also not availabe so estimated cutoff cannot stated.
