Easwari Engineering College (EEC), is an engineering college located in Ramapuram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, located right next to SRM University and SRM Dental College is a member of the Sri Ramaswamy Memorial (SRM) Group of Educational Institutions for higher learning. The college was instituted in 1996 and is affiliated with Anna University since 2002, now autonomous (since 2019). It is actually a very good autonomous college for engineering .

SRMJEEE — it's a national level entrance examination of SRM University Chennai for admission in engineering courses. Based on your SRMJEEE rank admission will be done through SRMJEEE counseling. Admissions to HIMT is done on the basis of your class 12th marks. It does not conduct any competitive exam for the same. Thus, Hindustan Institute of Maritime Training, HIMT uses your class 12 percentage to determine your eligibility in their B Tech program. 60% in class 12th is the minimum cutoff required for admission to B Tech at HIMT.
