In comparison with NIFT Gandhinagar, the National Institute of Fashion Technology is thought to be better for B.Des students. Living costs are much more in Bangalore than they are in Chennai. Considering all of these variables, NLSIU's overall tuition for undergraduate programmes is probably more expensive than TNDALU's, however specific scholarship circumstances may differ.

For postgraduate programmes, the difference in tuition fees between NLSIU and TNDALU is less, while the costs for housing are the same. Living costs are considerably greater in Bangalore than they are in Chennai, though. As a result, although the difference is somewhat smaller than for UG programmes, the overall cost of attending NLSIU for PG programmes is probably going to be somewhat more than TNDALU.

The approximate cutoffs for  general category should be 95%, for OBC category the cut off should be 90% and for SC/ST category the cut off should be 85%.   Minimum cut off marks are available for admission in TNPCEE. The cut offs for  OBC, General and SC/ST categories should be approximately 170-180, 180-190 and 160-170 respectively.

While a 70% grade in Class 12 is excellent, but it may not be enough to get you into all of TNDALU Chennai's programmes. Although it's regarded as a solid basis, other elements are quite important. Programmes offered by TNDALU are varied and include B.Tech, B.Sc., Law, and Humanities. Minimum eligibility requirements and admissions procedures vary each programme.
