DOTE Tamil Nadu has released TNEA Round 4 Provisional Allotment results on TNEA's official website on Nov 3. Candidates who confirmed their tentative allotment with "I accept and confirm the current allotment" option, were able to log in and download the provisional allotment order and report to the respective college by Nov 10. However, the college will conduct one more round for admission to BTech course is via TNEA Counselling. 

After filling out the application form, students who qualify for the course-specific entrance exams have to go through other selection rounds followed by course-wise counselling.

• Under TNEA, students don't have to go through any exam but the merit list is prepared using the Class 12 scores of the students
• DTE conducts a centralised counselling process for TN MBA/MCA admission, while counselling for other courses is conducted separately.

A merit list is then released by the conducting bodies for announcing the names of the candidates shortlisted for the courses. Candidates need to pay the admission fee to confirm their admission.

PSGCT offers more than various full and part-time undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate and PhD programmes across multiple streams such as Science, Engineering, Technology, Computer Applications and Management. These include the following:

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at CIT Coimbatore has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 13235. In 2023, it increased to 17649. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 
21706 to 22689 for OBC. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

CIT Coimbatore TNEA Round 1 cutoff for BTech in CSE was 1343 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission at CIT Coimbatore.

CIT Coimbatore TNEA cutoff 2023 was released for several BTech specialisations, among which CSE was the most competitie one with a last round closing rank of 1764 for OBC category. For BTech at CIT Coimbatore, TNEA cutoff 2023 ranged between 1764 and 22689, so yes candidates with a rank of 2500 can definetly get into CIT Coimbatore. However, the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in TNEA, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female. 

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For TNEA Round 1 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 17649 and closing rank was 17649 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to Civil Engineering in CIT Coimbatore is based on the scores obtained in the TNEA entrance exam.
