Admission to M.Sc in computer science program is both entrance examination based and merit-based. Certain universities like Delhi University offer both direct admission and entrance based admission to the program.
Universities like Delhi University and Savitribai Phule Pune University, conduct entrance examination for admission to M.Sc. Computer Science. Oh no. TNEA is no exam. In fact since last year Tamil Nadu Govt decided to do away with entrance exam for removing tensions from life if a student. However admissions are restricted to "Nativity" certificate holders of TN. You may register online with faint possibility of admission against seats remaining vacant.

If your rank is below 18000 then you will get a good college for chemical engineering. According to the cutoff of 2019, ICT Mumbai and DJ Sanghvi are good colleges for chemical engineering.

Yes, you can get a seat in Coimbatore University if you clear the cutoff. Therefore, you can apply for this.
