Generally, DIT University is categorized in Tier 2 rankings. Even its rankings such as NIRF 2024 Engineering ranking it within #201-300 do talk of a fair stature and stand nowhere close to the pinnacle when compared to premier institutes. Besides, it ranks as #12 amongst the private technical universities based on Outlook 2024 rankings. While it has a very high level of education and has been observed to be very successful, it is still far from the top tier of universities, known as Tier 1, which often ranks higher in national rankings and has more resources and recognition in both the academic and industrial worlds.

De Paul Institute of Science and Technology (DiST) is not 100% sure shot for placement, but it has an excellent record. 70-80 percent of students are placed in some of the reputed companies. The top recruiters are Wipro, TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant. The average package ranges from INR 3 to 10 Lacs per annum, though some of the students can manage more. The placement cell actively arranges trainings, mock interviews, and industry interactions so that students are better employed. As a whole, placements at DiST are good, though not guaranteed to each one of the students.
