SAU Delhi has a policy with regard to awarding freeships to students from economically weaker families. There are six Freeships with stipend for each Master/ MTech/ BTech programme of SAU. Out of these, three are given to Indian students and three to non-Indian students who have applied for the same and whose annual family income is below the specified amount, which would be determined by the Scholarship/Freeship Award Committee from time to time.

Yes, SAU Delhi provides Merit Scholarships to students for their financial assistance. The university provides two merit scholarships for each master's/ MTech/ BTech programme one for each Indian and non-Indian student. Below are the criteria for the Merit Scholarship offered at SAU:
- These scholarships are offered to the Indian and non-Indian students who have secured the highest rank in the respective merit list of the SAU Entrance Test among the remaining students after awarding the SAU President scholarship and SAARC-India Silver Jubilee Scholarship.
- These are given to those who secure the highest rank at the end of the first sem

South Asian University Delhi considers the merit of the candidates in the last qulifying exam and their entrance-exam scores for admission. The basic eligibility is Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG programmes. Below is course-wise eligibility for SAU Delhi:

South Asian University, Delhi conducts an entrance test for admission to UG, PG and PhD courses. Besides, the university also considers JEE Main, CUET-UG, CUET-PG, CAT, MAT, XAT, GATE, etc. for admission to specific programmes. Aspirants also need to pass the personal interview round for admission to a few courses.

Yes, SAU Delhi accepts CUET scores for admission to Integrated BS-MS and Integrated BBA-MBA programmes. Te university accepts CUET-PG scores for admission to MSc, MSc + MTech, MA, MS, MSc and MTech programmes. Besides, the university also conducts an entrance exam to select candidates for UG, PG and PhD courses.

As the INI CET is one of the toughest exams, candidates should focus on concepts. Targeting Top 1 to 50 ranks: To achieve a single-digit or two-digit rank aim for marking 160 to 185 accurate answers. For Ranks 50 to 200: Try marking around 150 to 160 questions correctly based on the target medical course. To get Ranks up to 500: Candidates must focus on answering 144 to 150 questions correctly.
