No, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) generally does not allow lateral entry into the 2nd year of its B.A. (Hons) programs. Admission is on the basis of JNU Entrance Exam (now CUET-UG) at the first year only, which has a structured three-year curriculum. For undergraduate courses at JNU, lateral entry is rare.

Between IMI Delhi, IMT Ghaziabad, Great Lakes Gurgaon, and FORE School of Management, IMI Delhi generally ranks the highest due to superior faculty, international accreditations, and average placement packages standing at about INR 17-18 LPA.

Great Lakes-Gurgaon is strong in analytics and one-year programs-definitely worth INR 14-15 LPA; FORE School of Management-strong in finance-is located at INR 14 LPA. IMI Delhi would still be the best with respect to prestige and ROI, with IMT not far behind in terms of ind

As a deprived Scheduled Caste (SC) student, you can apply for a scholarship at IGNOU under the SC/ST fee exemption scheme.

IGNOU offers full fee waivers for eligible SC/ST students in undergraduate and postgraduate programs, provided you submit a valid caste certificate, income proof (typically below INR 2.5 Lacs annually), and enrollment details. Apply during admission or within the stipulated deadline via the IGNOU portal.

Without the scholarship, fees vary by program—e.g., BA is around INR 4,000-6,000 per year, payable at admission. With the exemption, you'd pay nothing upfront, but non-scholarship components like exam fees (I
