Honestly, “best” can vary for everyone depending on what you're looking for. But from my own experience, SCOPE Paramedical College stood out for me. The classes are practical, the teachers are approachable, and they really focus on making you job-ready. I also liked that they guide you well with placements and internships. For me, it's been a great choice.

Yes, you can get admission to Sanaka Educational Trust's Group of Institutions for B.E. / B.Tech without the WBJEE exam. To be eligible for the course, the candidate needs to have a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12th in a relevant stream. Eligible candidates will also have to appear for the JEE Main exam (if not appearing for the WBJEE exam) and score valid marks to secure admission to the course. There may be some seats reserved for direct admission under the managemnet quota also.

If you belong to the OBC category of students and are aiming for NIT Durgapur MSc courses, then you must aim to secure a cutoff rank of up to 1716 or less. For 2025, the first round cutoff list is out, wherein the closing ranks varied between 282 and 1716 for the students belonging to the OBC category under the AI quota. So, considering the first round cutoff, it is better to have a lower cutoff rank to improve your chances of securing a seat at NIT Durgapur for the MSc programme. Below are the MSc specialisation-wise CCMN first-round closing ranks of OBC category students:
