its perfectly normal to pursue an MBA degree after completing your Graduation. In fact, IIM-A gives special preference to non-engineers while admitting students. Hence, of course, it will be difficult because its IIM-Ahmedabad, but it will be less difficult for you.

No you can not get. The inter transfer facility is applicable for Universities affiliated colleges only. Hence MSU will not allowed for such admission.

I would suggest that if you are interested in foreign language then you should go for Jawahar Lal Nehru University (JNU) Delhi, because it is the best university in India for foreign language, diplomats are also trained here , it has lowest fee and it also provides accommodation which you can easily afford.

Hi, For admission in PGP and PGP-FABM courses candidate must have a valid CAT score. Overseas student seeking admission in IIMA need to qualify GMAT exam. Students applying for executive program need to have a valid GMAT/GRE score. The final selection to the full-time course is based on the Analytical Writing Test (AWT) and Personal Interview (PI). Final year students are also eligible to apply. Admission will be granted to them provisionally.

Apart from that some of our faculties themselves are from IFS cadre and can guide you in the right direction. Being a management course this will help you in dealing with day-to-day situations if you do get selected in IFS. These are the only indirect benefit you get from IIFM in your quest to be an IFS. No direct benefit in terms of quota or visibility.
