Both the colleges are almost equivalent with respect to placements infra etc. , but Indus seems a better option

Minimum 50% marks either in the graduation.
or
Master's Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity.
Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent.

Personal discussion at IRMA is broadly aimed at understanding the sensitivity quotient of the candidates towards his/her world around. For the fresher's, most of the discussion revolves around graduation subjects (core), hobbies/interests, extra-curricular activities etc. For experienced candidates, the discussion would be on their work experience.

There is a scholarship for SC/ST covering the entire costs of education of SC/ ST applicants. The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India has allocated four scholarships to IRMA for SC participants. The scholarship covers fees, non-refundable charges, lodging and boarding expenses, and cost of books, stationery, and personal computer.

So, to answer your question, theoretically, you can convert IRMA with 80% if you meet the rest of the parameters (at least 4 of them including GD and PI). But, practically it is a daunting task to convert IRMA with such a low percentile if you do not have an extraordinary profile.
