Hasmukh Goswami college of Engineering is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It is private institution which offers postgraduate, undergraduate programme for management, Diploma and engineering courses. There are well educated and experienced faculty with good infrastructure. HGCE have career development centre for placements and interships but some reports says college have low placement rate and salary package.

The JEE Main exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is conducted for admission to BTech in most colleges all over India, not only for the Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar. The JEE Main exam is conducted twice a year. The results for session 1 were released on February 12, 2025, and the results for session 2 were released on May 23, 2025.
