B.Tech placements at School of Petroleum Technology (SPT), Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University are strong, with consistently high placement rates and attractive salary packages. The average placement rate over the past few years is 90% and 100% placement for B.Tech. Petroleum Engineering in 2023. School of Petroleum Technology at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University accepts only Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main scores for admission to its B.Tech programs. There is no alternative entrance exam accepted. For the B.Sc. (Hons.) program, students must have passed the 12th standard examination from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. Additionally, students with less than 70% score in the respective board examination at the time of admission will not be eligible for admission.
