Agra College accepts JEE Main scores under national counselling (JoSAA/CSAB). Cutoffs vary, but eligible scores typically fall in the sixty to seventy-five percentile range. For top streams like CS, JEE Main rank should ideally be under one Lacs twenty thousand. Other branches may allow slightly higher ranks. Meeting or exceeding these marks improves chances of securing a seat through national-level counselling.

Admissions usually open in May–June each academic year via UP counselling. Both UPSEE and board-based entries are accepted. The college regularly updates its portal and conducts help sessions for new applicants. If you have your credentials and rank ready, you can apply anytime in that window. For students from nearby regions, admissions are affordable, well-guided and transparent.

Yes, the faculty has a proactive placement cell that organizes workshops, company visits, and job drives. While placement volumes are modest, most core engineering students find local or national job opportunities. The cell also coordinates internships and guidance sessions for higher studies. Companies like Bharat Heavy Electricals, ONGC, and some IT firms visit campus. The support feels personal and student-centric—even during competitive times, the cell ensures students are prepared and confident.

Selection is based on Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) scores or board exam merit via state counselling. Candidates need a minimum of forty? five percent in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The institute also considers UP Joint Entrance Test (UPEJCET) scores. Admission requires timely registration, rank submission, and counselling. Despite being competitive, especially in branches like Computer Science, the faculty supports students in each step and offers guidance during counselling. It's a transparent, merit-based pathway to secure a seat.
