The admission requirements for SIHM Medak are entirely entrance-based. The selection of candidates is determined by how well they did on the qualifying exam. The SIHM Medak UG courses are open to those who have passed their class 12 exam from an approved board. Candidates cannot get direct admission as they are requried to follow the entrance based admission process.

The primary eligibility criteria required by the school to get admission into the MEd course is candidates must complete BEd/ BA BEd/ BSc BEd/ BElEd/ DElEd with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
