Yes, students enrolled in the PIET DPharma programme are required to undergo a mandatory training programme. The DPharma programme is divided into two years. Students, after appearing in the second year of the programme are required to go for three months of practical training.
These trainings are conducted at pharmacy stores approved by PCI. They can also opt to work in a government hospital. Moreover, during this training programme, students are required to complete 500 hours of training in prescription handling, inventory control, drug store management, and assisting medical officers in regular procedures that deal with the patient

PIET offers a total of 60 seats for the DPharma programme. The distribution of these seats is done via HSTES counselling. Thus, to get a seat, students must apply for the course on institute's official website. After that, they must register and appear for HSTES counselling. Moreover, students must also note that the aforementioned seat intake is as per official sources. However, it is subject to change.

Yes, PIET offers a few seats for admissions via management quota. As per the official website, 25% of the sanctioned intake are management quota seats that are to be filled by the institutions. The admission to the remaining 75% of sanctioned is done by HSTES as per the Reservation Policy notified by the State Government of Haryana.

Yes, as per PIET reservation policy, the institute reserves 85% of total seats for candidates belonging to the home state (Haryana). 50% of these seats are further reserved for admissions of candidates belonging to the general category. The rest 50% seats are spread across different reserved categories, including Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes (A), Backward Classes (B), and Physically Handicapped.

Yes, students enrolled in the PIET programmes do stand a chance to avail 100 percent scholarships. To do so, students must register and appear for the PIET QUEST Scholarship test conducted by the institute. Based on the scores obtained, students are awarded with different amounts of scholarships. The student who scores the highest marks is awarded a 100 percent tuition fee waiver.
