Currently, NIT Kurukshetra has not released the dates for the commencement of classes for the academic batch 2025. It is anticipated that the dates will fall in the same bracket similar to the previous one. The date of commencement of classes for the 2024 batch was August 12, 2024.  

The BE/BTech program at SGI - Samalkha Group of Institutions is a 4-year program offered at the UG level. The total tuition fee for this program ranges from INR 2.6 to INR 4.5 lakhs depending on the specialisation. Admission is based on the candidate's performace in the 10+2 examination. The institute offers direct admission to BTech courses only to the DASA process, that too with fulfilling certain eligibility criteria. However, JEE Main is what gives admissions to the BTech programmes at NIT Kurukshetra. Hence, Indian students can not see themselves in the NIT Kurukshetra BTech programme without JEE Main scores. 

There are 1242 seats available for BTech at NIT Kurukshetra. Students have to satisfy the eligibility criteria. Additionally, the selection process involves the valid scores of JEE Main.
