School of Computer Applications students are involved in a plethora of activities. Along with tech fest they have ample of cultural activities like dance, music, debate, acting, sports & lot other variety to choose from. They can find their interest by taking part in these actvities and discover their talents and niches.

Mess food is good enough at School of Computer Applications with weekly menus provided and a variety to meals to choose from. The kitchen environment is also hygenic so there are no health concerns involved. However, the menu is decided by Students Mess Committees. Special consideration is given to provide a well balanced, nutritional diet with varying food tastes.

CGPA calculaation at Faculty of Computer Applications is basically the average grade point (SGPA) for all the semesters. The calculation goes like this:
(Credit of all courses x Grade point optained in all courses) / Sum of credits of all courses registered

If they have a valid reason for missing the internals at Faculty of Computer Applications due to some emergency situation then surely the faculty will re schedule it for them. You can always give the back exam to cover your exam.

If the student fails in the internal exams, they don't have to worry much. Since their overall marks for that particular subject will be calculated and if even then the student fails in the subject. Then they can re appear at another schdeuled timing by the university.

The University offers a lot of oppurtunities in the tech department to hone the students. So as a first year try to explore all the cultural and technical soceities, engage with seniors to learn more about how to build your CV right. And use the vast library facilities to build your knowledge and take guidance from the teachers to stay updated and score well in exams.

The students are expected to wear formal or semi formal clothes while attending the classes at Faculty of Computer Applications. The generally acceptable clothes are mentioned below;
For men: Trousers + full/half sleeve shirts + shoes/sandal with back strap + belt (optional) (However, students may put on lounge suit or a combination).
For female: Saree / salwar suit / leggings + long kurti + dupatta / long frock / business formal [trousers/long skirt +fFull /half sleeve shirt + blazer (optional)] + appropriate foot wear.

No, getting direct admission is not possible in Faculty of Computer Applications since they conduct an online entrance test. The admission process is also completely online. And if you get more than 80% in their entrance test, then you can even get a 100% scholarship.

The campus life is quite great for School of Computer Applications students as fests happen quite frequently and there is a spearate tech fest for the enthusiasts. Availaibility of canteens, party halls and a lot of extra curricular socieities like dramatics, robotics, dance, etc., makes it a comfortable place to hangout and have fun. Quite a variety of sports like gym, pools, tennis, cricket will also keep you engaged. Campus inrfrastructure is beautiful and gives good a lot of opputunnities to shine and fine your niche.

There is hostel facility provided by the University for Boys and Girls, and there PG's available in Greenfields area which are spacious. The mess food is good enough and nothing to complain about. The rooms are 2 seater as well we 4 seater depending on it the fee structure varies. Separate bathroom facilities along with common bathrooms are also available.
