It varies based on the board results that you obtained in 12th and if the number of students having marks more than 90% then the cutoff ratio is going to be high obviously. They consider each and every subject score and calculate it, hence in such a way they sort out the students as per respective course requirements.

Yes, you can get placement from mm university or you can go walking to any hotel in India or in any other country. For placement you can contact the H. R. department of the company or hotel and send your C. V. according to which they conduct your interview.

CAT is one of the important entrance exams TO GET admission in an MBA course. However, there are other national and state level exams like:
1. XAT conducted by Xaviers Institute.
2. SNAP is conducted by Symbiosis University.
3. NMAT by GMAC council.
4. For NMIMS and other colleges, IIFT exam is conducted.
5. CMAT is conducted by AICTE.
6. MAT is conducted by AIMA.
7. LPU NEST by Lovely Professional University
8. There are state level exams like KMAT and MH-CET. One important point to be noted is that LPU NEST serves as scholarship test this year and so does CAT in the same university. DVD
