For admission to BSc at both the open universities is merit-based. To be eligible for the course, aspirants only need to be Class 12 or equivalent pass from a recognised board.
VMOU is recognised and accredited by the UGC (University Grants Commission). Additionally, BRAOU Hyderabad courses are by the Distance Education Bureau (DEB), UGC, New Delhi.
Moreover, the total tuition fee for BSc at BRAOU is INR 7,700 and range between INR 20,000 and INR 3 lakh for VMOU. Aspirants can consider these factors to make a decision.

BRAOU BSc is a three-year course, which is divided into semester pattern. Some of the specialisations in which the course is offered are Botany, Chemistry, Zoology, etc. These courses are further offered in three mediums, including Telugu, English, and Urdu. Candidates who have passed Class 12 are eligible for admission.

BRAOU was accepting for BSc course admission till March, as per an official notification. There is no other admission date available as of now. The below table carries BRAOU BSc application dates:

Students who meet the minimum eligibility requirement can apply through the BRAOU official website. Aspirants can click on the 'Admission' section, then 'Apply Online' against the BSc course to open the form. All the details should be filled out carefully in the admission form.
At the time of form filling, students need to pay the first-year tuition fee as well. Then a printout of the payment receipt should be taken for future reference.

No, BRAOU Hyderabad BSc admission is merit-based. Candidates are admitted to the programme based on merit in the last qualifying examination, i.e., Class 12 or equivalent. Moreover, the open university may also offer admission through a eligibility test conducted by the university.

Students can study BRAOU Hyderabad BSc courses in Telugu or English medium. Moreover, the BSc courses in Botany, Chemistry, and Zoology are offered in Urdu. Once a medium of instructuin is chosen by the student in the first year, it then remains the same till the course completion. Thus, all the semester papers have to be written in one medium only.
