I think your preferred branch is EC. You can easily get uec EC, rgpv EC, jec EC. Getting Sgsits EC in second round will depend upon if there are any seats left after admission or allotment in first round. If you have got jec, rgpv or uec in first round then you should upgrade. To be honest it is very difficult even in SC category as the number of seats are less and I have seen many students in SC category with higher marks

The eligibility criteria is to score 50%-55% in your graduation depending on your reservation criteria/ general category to get admission in this college.

SGSITS-CSE/IT is much demanded branch, it will be bit difficult to get this branch in 1st round. You can expect in 2nd round, but at the end it will be depended on number of withdrawals which is quite low in case of SGSITS.
