If you are thinking for greater opportunities and good jobs, I would highly recommend you to pursue your class 12th from any means, but since you are thinking about NIOS, it would be a beneficial thing to do.

Jaipur National University is good for studying BA LLB (Hons.) and has good placement records.BA-LLB course combines a Bachelor's degree course in Arts with Bachelors in Law. The syllabus for this program as the name suggests includes enriching curriculum in Art subjects.
The duration of the course BA-LLB at JNU, Jaipur is five years. Each year comprises of two semesters. A student who successfully completes the five years of BA-LLB course shall be eligible for the award of both Degrees of Bachelors of Arts and Bachelors in Law.

As you said that you have scored 79.11 percentile and you belong to general category, sorry to say but 90.31 percentile is the cut off for JEE Mains, so keep your hopes low.
