Hi dear,
I will not recommend you University of Management, Kolkata for mechanical engineering. UEM is famous for non-core branches like IT and CSE. Also, UEM Kolkata does not have a vast history; it is a new college.
So don't go for mechanical engineering in UEM.

I think amity will be better. See the reason I am saying Amity is graphic era is famous for technical courses like B.Tech n all here B.Sc. microbiology is good but not the best so I advice you to choose Amity.

According to me, JECRC then Poornima, then Arya but I will suggest not to go in this college if you are eligible for LNMIIT, MNIT, BITS PILANI you can see the placement record and faculty staff from their college website you get better idea about the college.

Admission Requirements :
1. Selection of the candidate shall be based on the merit of counselling held by the university or Counselling held by Private Nursing Council.
2. The minimum educational requirement shall be 12th Pass from a recognized board or university with science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) with minimum of 45% aggregate marks(PCB).

If you think that fees are not affordable, even if you take education loan, then you should go to any other college. As you cannot perform well due to load of fees, or if you belong to BPL category, then you can get 100% scholarship on tuition fee.

Yes, it is valid but not everywhere. Medical entrance exams like
NEET and a few government exams don't allow NIOS students to appear for the exam.
