IUST Awantipora MBA admission procedure starts with the online registration process. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can visit the university's official website to register. The next step is to fill out the application form and submit it along with an application fee of INR 500.

• Candidates seeking admission to a BA in Journalism & Mass Communication must have scored at least 50% in Class 12 from a recognised board
• For all other specialisations, candidates must have scored an aggregate of 45% or more in Class 12 from a recognised board
• A relaxation of 5% on the minimum required aggregate is provided to candidates from reserved categories
