Academic performance is an important component for Iims and contributed about 25% in selection. While CAT score, What, PI and work experience are the other important components. Leading Iims like IIM-A, B and C required the CAT percentile above 99. while IIM Lucknow, Indore and Kozhikode needs CAT percentile between 97-98. The CAT percentile between 94-95 can be safe for Iims like Trichi, Raipur, Ranchi and Kashipur. So keeping your CAT and Academic performance in consideration, your chances for Iims Trichi, Raipur, Ranchi and Kashipur are high.

I think there is a tough chance of getting NIT Jamshedpur, But I will say, go till the last round, If there is any chance of lower NITs then you will get that.

Obviously, you should choose the NIT Jamshedpur. NIT Jamshedpur is far better than IIIT Jabalpur.

Yes, you will get NIT Jamshedpur But I think you are not able to get your desired Branch. I suggest irrespective of the College you should go for the NIT's in which you get your desired or better Branch. But if you want NIT Jamshedpur irrespective of Branch then Might be you will get till last round of counselling. One more suggestion In counselling go till last Round, You might be getting a good branch with better college.
