Admission to the CSE branch was the toughest for the General category students, and the easiest for the ST category candidates, since the General category had the strictest cutoff range and the ST, the most lenient.

According to the last round, the most difficult BTech specialisation was BTech CSE, with a cutoff of 5714. In contrast, the easiest last round BTech branch was Mechanical Engineering, with the cutoff being 11190. This was also true for the first round.

IIIT Kalyani JEE Main cutoff 2025 was released for various All India categories for admission to multiple BTech course branches.
The General AI category faced an overall cutoff range of 37079 in the first round to 62216 in the last round. On the other hand, the OBC AI category, had a cutoff range between 14582 and 82882.

IIIT Kalyani M.Tech cutoff 2025 for the OBC category was 330 in round 1 and 342 in the last round for admission to M.Tech. in VLSI and Embedded Systems. Admissions are based on what the candidate scored in GATE 2025, and are followed by the CCMT counselling process.
