A total of 144 students registered and 132 students were placed IIIT Kalyani BTech placement 2025. Out of the total students placed,  63 students were placed On-Campus and 69 students were placed Off-Campus. 7 students opted for higher studies.

IIIT Kalyani  offers a solid academic foundation, decent placements for core branches, and improving infrastructure. It has also been granted the Institute of National Importance (INI) status.

According to the reviews on Shiksha (Aisha Jaiswal-B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028) there are campus drives being conducted where companies recruit. The highest package was around 30 LPA and the average was around 12 LPA. The faculty members are all very nice and rounded people. They are very knowledgeable in their own field and also help us with things other than academics.

In contrast, the easiest last round BTech branch was Mechanical Engineering, with the cutoff being 11190. This was also true for the first round.
