Getting into B.Tech at NCET irrespective of the departments is solely through marks scored and rank acquired from giving the entrance exams of KCET or COMEDK UGCET.
However, the cut-off differs according to the departments, in CSE AI and Machine Learning the cutoff mark in COMEDK UGCET is 75,910 in the year 2023. That means, your rank must be under 75,910 in order to get selected in the CSE AI department through COMEDK. B.Tech in usual is a bachelor's degree and you can easily pass through exams from notes and study before exams. The exams are held monthly on semester basis. All the lectures are taught on the basis of textbooks, and notes are given in between the classes. The practical approach of teaching is none and there are no industry visits. The difficulty of exams is quite low and you can get a good score by studying from the books. You can also passed easily by studying just before the exams but, I would not recommend wasting your time and getting an average mark. You are ultimately risking your own chance of being placed in a reputed company
