No, you cannot get ACS with JEE Mains marks. The selection of students for all the courses is made on marks obtained in national-level qualifying exams such as CET, COMED K, and GATE etc. The last round closing rank for KCET and COMED K for the B.E. programme remained at 202306 (General) and 73745 (General) respectively.

Cannot assure you much about other Departments, but CSE and AERO are the above par branches here. Cultural fests and other events are like 3/10 rating. Talking about academics, yes you can take it as a good place, as lectures will help u a lot with the subjects and marks (talking about CSE and AERO). If u have a low rank or coming from management quota, ACSCE is a fair choice as it is growing really fast.

You have to qualify for class 12th from any stream. You have to take CUET entrance test. You can find the application form on the official website of CUET. There is a reservation for SC/ST. You have to clear the cutoff marks to gain addmission. Fees for the semester are not much. It's below INR 5000 per semester. But, the hostel and mess Fees are high. Every 6 months we have to pay about INR 18,000 which includes both mess and hostel fees. They charge 100 rupees per day for the mess. There are good faculty not best but it's good. Our HOD had studied at a good University. Many have PhD degrees. The term exam is conducted every 6 months.

Assuming, you are talking about B.Tech in Public colleges, Presidency is more expensive and has a fee struture in the range of INR 2LPA - INR 4 LPA while in general, SETs are more likely to be in the range of INR 30,000 - INR 1 Lakhs per annum. This does not answer the question asked as there is a huge assumption that you are talking about BTech in public colleges. The answer varies significantly based on multiple factors like the stream chosen, hostel and other facilities, categories, the specific institutions selected, and even gender. Therefore, a more specific question is to be asked including the above mentioned details.
