No, MS Ramaiah College of Law does not consider CUET score for admission in BA LLB. It conducts its own entrance test called RCL Admission Test. Some central universities, such as Banaras Hindu University and University of Allahabad accept CUET score for admission in BA LLB program.

For the General AI category students, the cutoff was 4336 in the first round and jumped to 7733 in the last round. This means that candidates with a rank below 7733 can easily avail admissions for this course. Oher categories, quotas, rounds, etc., will have different cutoffs accordingly.

The eligibility criteria for admission in BA LLB at Ramaiah College of Law and BHU is the same. But BHU offers a smaller number of seats for the programme (74) than Ramaiah College of Law (120). Also, the entrance test to get admission in BA LLB at BHU is CUET. CUET is nation-wide test that is taken by a much bigger of students each year compared to the RCL Admission Test that is conducted by Ramaiah College as an entrance test. Thus, it is more difficult to get a BA LLB seat at BHU than at Ramaiah College of Law.

The total tuition fee for BA LLB at Symbiosis College of Law (INR 25-26 lakh) is around 3 times the fee at MS Ramaiah College of Law (INR 8-11 lakh). Thus, BA LLB at MS Ramaiah College of Law is much more economical.

As per the data below for the General AI category, we can conclude that the competition has been decreasing over the years over the years. The higher the cutoff, the lower the competition.

Candidates can check the table below for more information.

Candidates with a high score in CLAT may be preferred for selection in BA LLB at Ramaiah College of Law. But if you qualify the eligibility criteria and clear all the rounds of the selection process, you may get a seat at Ramaiah College of Law without appearing for CLAT.

MS Ramaiah College of Law does not have seats reserved for women in BA LLB program. It allocates seats on a merit basis. The college shall inform of any changes in its seat allocation policy on its official website.

There are limited number of seats being offered for admission in the BA LLB programme at Ramaiah College of Law. But if you perform well in your Class 12 exams and score well in the RCL Admission Test and Personal Interview, you may secure a seat at the college. It is easier to get admission in this college compared to the top ranked law colleges such as NLSIU, Bengaluru and NLU, Delhi.
