It depends on the specific specialisation. While the main BE in Computer Science and Engineering branch at Sapthagiri College of Engineering closed at 66,750, you might have a better chance in Data Science or Electronics and Communication, which had similar or slightly higher closing ranks.

If you are applying in the General AI quota, your rank should be between 49,268 and 89,902*. To apply under the Home State (Karnataka) quota, score between 63,332 and 1,52,086, depending on stream you select.

*The details are based on the KCET 2025 cutoff.

As per KCET 2025 ranks, BE in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science) is the most competitive. It had the lowest closing rank of 49,268, meaning you need a higher score/better rank to secure a seat in this branch compared to others.

With a rank like 984 in LPUNEST and 91% in 12th, you're in a strong position for CSE at Lovely Professional University, and you'll likely get good exposure and possibly a solid scholarship as well.

Talking about the environment, it's quite balanced. Academically, there are regular classes, labs, coding culture, and placement-oriented training, so if you're focused, you'll find it productive. At the same time, the campus is very diverse with students from all over India, active clubs, and events, which helps in overall personality development. The environment isn't overly strict, so it depends on you, if you stay disciplin

Yes, for admission to Global Institute of Business Studies (GIBS Bangalore) there is usually a minimum score or rank requirement in entrance exams, but it is generally reasonable and achievable. They look at exams like CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, or GMAT, and having a good score helps your application. This is one reason GIBS is counted among business schools with admission open in Bangalore that many students aim for.

They also consider your overall profile, academics, and performance in personal interviews, so even if your score isn't super high, you still have a fair chance if you show strong potential.
