Admissions to SMIT BBA programmes are open early, and students are encouraged to apply early since the institute has limited seats. Applicants can apply before appearing for their final exams. The admissions committee will take into account the marks of previous years/exams in processing the applications. Applicants who receive offer letters can join with a provisional admission and submit their results later. Currently, the admission portal for BBA courses at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology is open; candidates can apply for the course through the official website of the college. Moreover, for admissions, candidates must complete their Class 12 with a valid score. Therefore, candidates who are waiting for the results of Class 12 can apply provisionally for the course and can upload the documents related to Class 12 results afterwards.

Further divided into six, eight, and ten semesters.
